Ilavasam

I thought of translating the below lines which were scribbled outside a use and pay toilet in salem to english, but finally resorted to keep it simple in tamil , as the lines wud lose its sting in the hands of an inept translator in me..

"Ilavasa color tv..
Ilavasa nilam..
Ilavasa 2 Kilo arisi..
Kattana Kalipparai !! ??"

I remembered the famous lines by a tamil poet instantly. HE cries in frustration at the plight of the ppl in his country as--
" Indha naadum, naatu makkalum naaasamai pogattum"

Tamizha Vilithelu...Illaiyel Mithikkapaduvai!!!
